It's unknown if Fortnite Winterfest 2023 will affect the three new modes introduced with Chapter 5 Season 1 – Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing, and Lego Fortnite. Basically, don't expect new content to be constantly drip-fed into the game during Fortnite Winterfest 2023. Epic also takes a break over the summer (usually in July) so it's a similar situation to earlier this year with Fortnite Summer Escape during Chapter 4 Season 3.

One big deviation from the usual fare is that Winterfest 2023 won't be bringing back the cosy Winter Cabin, but the new event is also set to bring a brand new POI to the Fortnite Battle Royale map.
